A Trip into the Amazon

Today, our young men had the incredible opportunity to visit Amazon Web Services, a trip that was both educational and inspiring. Spearheaded by one of our visionary Board members, Sharmonique Shade, and led by our dedicated staff members, Nevin Perkins and Kalel Redd, the boys were introduced to a world of innovation and career possibilities.

The day began with a hands-on workshop focused on artificial intelligence, where they got to explore cutting-edge technology and understand its real-world applications. Following the workshop, they toured Amazon’s state-of-the-art facility, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at the operations that power one of the world's largest companies.

Along the way, the boys learned about various career paths within Amazon, including opportunities in marketing, data analysis, and technology development. This trip not only sparked their curiosity but also broadened their perspectives on what their futures could hold. It was an inspiring day that showcased the value of hard work, innovation, and thinking big, leaving our young men motivated and excited about the possibilities ahead!
